My wife has gotten me started on her new “deals” site called Swagbucks. It’s a place where you can go to search, take surveys, get lots of ads thrown your way, but in the end, you earn their fake currency called (surprisingly) SwagBucks. These can be used to redeem Amazon gift cards (most common) and other items in their shop. After signing up for the account, my wife has gotten about $35 in 3 months. Not bad for doing some random searching for 2 minutes a day.
You can sign up for a SwagBucks account and start getting free stuff too.
So after owning my Xbox for almost 2 years, I finally got a RROD. Unfortunately, it was out of warranty. I thought I was completely screwed, but for this specific failure, they extended the warranty to 3 years. Lucky me!
So after I sent it away, I saw that Amazon is offering a subscription to Xbox Live for $34.99 – pretty decent price for a year of Gold online gaming, especially since I’m playing Modern Warfare 2 a lot.
