Visual Studio 2005 Web Application Projects

Scott Guthrie and the Visual Studio team has done a very good job at listening to the community. They have done it again with their new project type for VS2K5. I have started building one of my own projects using this and haven’t run into any problems, except one big one. After installing CodeRush and Refactor! Pro from DevExpress, VS decides that it doesn’t want to run anymore and crashes. I still haven’t found the root cause yet, but I am working on it.

I do have to say that this is very nice for the programmers that do not want to migrate to the new 2.0 Framework style code (App_Code directory, etc…). I would recommend you check it out.
